It also supports a handful of music formats including the popular MP3, as well as the M4A, WMA, AAC, AAC+ and eAAC+ formats, according to the release. The device will also allow users to share play lists or favorite song mixes with friends or acquaintances via text message or Bluetooth wireless technology, and its battery will last for up to 10 hours of listening.“The second Nokia Nseries flagship device to hit the U.S., the Nokia N91 is ready to rock the U.S. audience,” said David Watkins, director of multimedia computers with Nokia North America, in a statement. “Its multiple connectivity and powerful performance in all areas truly makes it the world’s best mobile connected jukebox.” Users of the Nokia N91 device will also be able to access exclusive audio recordings from the July 2005 Live8 performances—a benefit show meant to combat poverty—including songs performed by artists like Paul McCartney, U2, Sting, R.E.M. and Green Day, among others.Additional features include stereo headphones, a 2-megapixel digital camera, support for push e-mail, Web browsing capabilities, and a new application that enables users to transfer data stored on the device, such as contact lists and calendars, to other Nokia products without the use of a PC, according to the release.
