Microsoft and Juniper Network, a provider of Web security software, are teaming up to offer security-related products for IP services and networks, Juniper said on Monday, the Associated Press reports via BusinessWeek Online.

The deal will enable Juniper to offer up its network security solution for IPTV to companies that sell Microsoft TV IPTV Edition, the Redmond, Wash.-based software giant’s Web-based digital TV program, according to the AP.

A Microsoft statement issued Monday reads, “Juniper delivers a unique security solution for the IP infrastructure that will add a layer of network security,” according to the AP.
