Cognos, Canada’s largest software producer, on Monday said it has postponed the filing of its annual report for the year concluding Feb. 28 in Canada due to a continuing probe by the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), related to the method in which it assigns revenue for post-contract customer support when those contracts involve multiple elements, like licensing, Reuters reports.

Ottawa, Canada-based Cognos, which makes software employed to examine corporate data, also delayed filing its annual report in the United States in early May, according to Reuters.

Though Cognos said it is cooperating with the SEC, it didn’t offer any additional details to Reuters.
