EMC, the world’s leading producer of corporate data storage hardware, said on Monday that its second-quarter revenue lagged behind its own previous prediction, based on preliminary numbers, Reuters reports.

Hopkinton, Mass.-based EMC said its total revenue was about $2.58 billion, roughly $91 million less than its forecasted $2.67 billion, according to Reuters.  EMC also plans to report a net income of 12 cents per share, one cent less than the 13 cents per share it previously predicted for Q2 net income, Reuters reports.

The storage giant is expected to release its full financials on Friday, July 14, according to Reuters.
