Cisco Systems on Thursday announced that it will purchase security software vendor Meetinghouse Data Communications for roughly $43.7 million, the Associated Press reports via HoustonChronicle.com.

Cisco, the world’s leading producer of computer networking materials, will purchase Meetinghouse, which makes software to manage network access, sometime before the end of its first fiscal quarter on Oct. 28, according to the AP.

Portsmouth, N.H.-based Meetinghouse’s 77 employees and its software will be merged with Cisco’s wireless networking division when the deal is finalized, the AP reports.
