Nokia, a Finnish producer of mobile phone handsets, on Wednesday announced that it will launch its second mobile TV trial program in Sweden before 2007, and it will work with the country’s largest radio and television broadcaster, Teracom, on the initiative, Reuters reports via ABC News.

The trial will take place in Stockholm, Sweden between October and December, and some 400 consumers will be able to view 14 television channels and hear four radio stations via Nokia’s N92 mobile phones, according to Reuters.

Nokia is to provide the digital video broadcasting handheld (DVB-H) technology for the broadcast system, which sends programming directly to users’ mobile phones, Reuters reports.

Teracom will be in charge of the network, as well as the broadcasting and operating platforms, according to Reuters.

Additional firms, such as ATG, Boxer, Sveriges Television/UR and Telenor will also participate in the pilot, Reuters reports.

The deal is Nokia’s second of the sort in Sweden. The mobile phone giant inked a deal last week with TeliaSonera Sweden to jointly run a complete DVB-H test program, according to Reuters.
