This capability is particularly important when patients involved in clinical trials come into medical facilities for unscheduled visits and clinical staff need to do on-the-spot data collection. Remote Data Capture Onsite includes a discrepancy management module designed to handle any issues relating to discrepancies between existing information and new data about a patient. As Oracle continues to bring its disparate applications together under its Fusion project, the vendor has said publicly it’s keen to integrate the clinical trial management software it acquired when it purchased Siebel with its own academic research applications. The first release of Oracle CRM OnDemand Release 10, formerly Siebel OnDemand hosted CRM software, which debuted in April, included particular enhancements aimed at users in the life sciences community.-China Martens, IDG News Service (Boston Bureau)Check out our CIO News Alerts and Tech Informer pages for more updated news coverage.
