Yahoo, the Web search giant, on Wednesday announced that its mobile service offering is currently available to users of phones that run on Microsoft’s popular Windows Mobile operating system, Reuters reports.

The service is available for download directly to Windows Mobile smart phones, according to Reuters.

Yahoo went live with its Yahoo Go offering this year, enabling users to access e-mail, its search engine and a digital photo service via their cell phones, according to Reuters.

In addition to the availability of Yahoo’s mobile service on the Windows Mobile phone, it can be downloaded to a handful of phones made by Motorola, Reuters reports.
