AOL, Time Warner’s Internet arm, has acquired Web video game publication GameDaily from San Francisco, Calif.-based Gigex for an undisclosed amount, Dow Jones reports via The Wall Street Journal.Under the deal, which was made final on Aug. 10, AOL now owns GameDaily’s website and its print GameDaily Biz newsletter, according to Dow Jones.GameDaily is to become Dulles, Va.-based AOL’s leading video game brand under its AOL Games network, Dow Jones reports.
