The Boston Herald reports that California-based IT services company Caritor is purchasing Boston, Mass.-based IT consultancy Keane. Once the $854 million, all-cash deal is complete (scheduled for the second quarter of 2007), the Keane name will remain, and the combined company will be based in Boston and led by Caritor CEO Mani Subramanian.
