Executive Career Counselor Bio: Jane Howze

Jane Howze, founder of The Alexander Group (with offices in Houston, San Francisco and San Diego), has more than 20 years of executive recruiting experience. Prior to forming The Alexander Group, she worked for Korn/Ferry International in Houston. Prior to working in executive search, Ms. Howze was a commercial loan officer for a leading Houston bank, practiced business law for a major Houston law firm, and served as associate general counsel for a California based multinational financial institution.

She received her undergraduate degree from Rhodes College, and her law degree from the University of Houston. Ms. Howze’s recruiting experience has focused on banking, legal, human resource, information technology, administrative, healthcare and financial positions. She also directs board of director searches and is actively involved in the firm’s diversity practice.
