Not surprising given that the poll was posted at Monster.com, where most users are (actively or inactively) looking to get the heck out of Dodge.Twenty-three percent of poll participants said they worked in a fast-paced frenzy a la ER. Though, presumably with less blood, fewer guts (except those who literally work in an emergency room).Thirteen percent of people likened their office to The Apprentice — cutthroat and competitive. Though, presumably without the egomaniacal jerk of a boss with bad hair who could fire them at any moment (except for those who literally work for the Trump organization). Just 11 percent said their workplace is full of personal drama and romance like Grey’s Anatomy. Kind of a relief, really. But back to The Office, which had its hour-long premiere last night. (You saw it, right?) I’m guessing that most poll participants who said their workplace is most like the NBC show would consider themselves Jim or Pam in their own real-life version of the comedy.
