Paper and packaging distributor Unisource Worldwide hired an Accenture consultant as its new SVP and CIO. Tim Kutz worked in Accenture’s Global Forest Products practice as a partner before joining the Norcross, Ga.-based company. He joined the consulting firm in 1999. Previously, Kutz held an 11-year tenure with Union Camp‘s fine paper division. As the company’s order fulfillment IT director, he led a four-year, $30 million order fulfillment system implementation. Kutz holds a bachelor of science degree in industrial engineering and operations research from Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University. Roger A. Barrios joined TSYS Acquiring Solutions as its CIO on August 28. He reports to Robert J. Philbin, president of the acquiring solutions and services provider. Barrios most recently worked for payments processor RBS Lynk as its CIO. Prior to RBS Lynk, he founded IT outsourcing services company AmQuest and served as its CEO. Barrios has a bachelor of science degree from the Florida Institute of Technology.
