Harvard Business School (HBS) CIO Stephen Laster joined Intelliworks‘ advisory board. Laster just recently finished rolling out Intelliworks’ CRM software for HBS’s executive education program. Laster leads a team of 110 IT professionals at HBS who oversee the school’s academic and administrative computing environment. Prior to his current role, he was the director of the Curriculum Innovation and Technology Group at Babson College, where he focused on e-learning and collaborative technologies.
Carestream Health, the company formed through Onex Corp.’s acquisition of Eastman Kodak’s Health Group (which took place last week), announced its senior leadership team.
Douglas Albro begins a new job as EVP and CIO of Alere Medical on May 14. He comes to the Reno, Nev.-based healthcare provider from Excellus BlueCross BlueShield where he was vice president of information management. Prior to Excellus BlueCross BlueShield, Albro was director of information technology for Humana. At Alere Medical, he will be responsible for continuing the evolution of Alere’s Allegro information system, a patient-centric monitoring system that is designed to provide access to multiple streams of data to enhance patient management and care. The system integrates all disease states and co-morbidities in one centralized environment, providing nurses with a complete view of each patient’s health information.
Luis Romero joined Peach Holdings (Peachtree) on April 11, 2007 as its new CIO. He joined the Boynton
Beach, Fla.-based the specialty financial services company from Binary Technologies for which he was the president. He previously served as CIO of Relationserve and at Debt Management Associates. He also previously consulted for Peachtree.
