Last week, CIO.com launched a new blog, CIO Job Search: A Real Life Chronicle.  Long-time CIO William Crowell is writing about his effort to find his next position. I recommend you check it out. The blog has an intimate feel, and Crowell has a pleasant, conversational voice.  CIO Job Search is a place where you can commiserate, share war stories about the arduous job search process, and exchange tips and advice. Crowell certainly has plenty of ideas and experiences to share.

No stranger to the search process, Crowell wrote about his experience looking for a new CIO job after leaving Meredith Corp., the publisher of Better Homes and Gardens, a few years ago.  He later took a job as Teva Pharmaceuticals’ CIO, and then moved on to his most recent position working for Oregon’s department of human services as its CIO.

Crowell and the rest of us at CIO.com hope you enjoy his blog and make it a regular stop on your trip through the site.
