New CIOs at Home Decor Products, Flow International and more

Home Decor Products shored up its executive management team on February 20, 2007 with the addition of a new EVP and CIO. The Edison, N.J.-based online retailer hired Jonathon Pearl to run IT. He reports to Home Decor Products CEO Michael Golden. Pearl most recently worked for RSM McGladrey as a managing director in its consulting and information solutions practice. Pearl is an active member of the American Production and Inventory Control Society (APICS).

Scott Rollins is another consultant who scored a CIO job. Fletcher was appointed CIO of Flow International, which makes industrial waterjet machines used for cutting and cleaning. He joined the Kent, Wash.-based company from Maverick Consulting’s manufacturing technology practice where he was a senior consultant. Prior to Maverick, Rollins worked for Microsoft and iLogistix. In his new role, he reports to Flow International CFO Douglas Fletcher.

Yevette Tierney traded in her job with Bloomberg for the CIO post at eSpeed, a NYC-based developer of electronic marketplaces and trading technology. She reports to Howard Lutnick, eSpeed’s chairman, CEO and president. At Bloomberg, Tierney held global product development, infrastructure, client service and operations management positions and reported to the CEO. She was responsible for developing the technology platform supporting Bloomberg’s television, radio and multimedia services.

Venture capital firm CMGI bet on Matthew Dattilo to succeed Josita Todd as CIO. Todd is leaving CMGI “to pursue other opportunities,” according to the press release. Dattilo joined CMGI from PerkinElmer where he served as VP and CIO. Prior to joining the drug discovery company in 2001, he worked for GE for 20 years. In his new role with CMGI, Dattilo will be in charge of IT for CMGI and its subsidiary ModusLink. He will also direct the development of ModusLink’s supply chain solutions.

Antonio Yenidjeian joined Lightspeed Research as its CIO and member of the senior leadership team. He most recently served as SVP, COO and CTO of Petals Inc., a multi-channel direct marketing company, where he developed its global technology infrastructure.
