Please help me with a story I’m reporting!

I’m writing an article for CIO.com on employment contracts and agreements.  It’s going to explain what they are, why they’re beneficial, and offer some tips on how to negotiate them.  I’m looking to interview IT executives and managers who have experience negotiating employment contracts or agreements with current or past employers.  If you’re an IT executive or manager and you have something to say about employment contracts/agreements, please e-mail me at mlevinson@cio.com and let me know.  Thanks!

Greg Goluska joined DSC Logistics as its new vice president and CIO. He comes to the Chicago-based supply chain management company from Hendrickson International, where he was CIO.  Prior to Hendrickson, he was CIO of Marconi PLC. He previously spent 20 years with Motorola starting as a programmer/applications manager and working his way up to the CIO role in several of Motorola’s divisions.

The YMCA of Greater Houston, Texas  hired its first ever CIO. Jeff Bundy was hired in part for his “innovative approach to project management” and understanding of technological development, according to the press release announcing his hire. Bundy most recently served as CIO for the YMCA of the USA. Previously he was the YMCA of San Frandisco’s CIO, a position he took in 1997.

TSX Group, the company that operates Canada’s two national stock exchanges, announced yesterday that John Cieslak, its EVP, CIO and chief administrative officer, is leaving the company on April 30, 2007. Cieslak joined TSX Group in July 2000. During his tenure, he and his team developed a technology strategy and implemented a new technology platform for the company.

Succeeding Cieslak in the CIO post at TSX is Brenda Hoffman. She currently serves as the company’s vice president of development and is a member of the senior management team. Among her accomplishments, she most recently led the development teams responsible for TSX Group’s new equities trading engine and for enhancements to TSX’s trading system that have optimized execution speeds for algorithmic traders. Hoffman joined the company in January 2001.
