NIP Group Hires Don Delgrosso as New CIO

Don Delgrosso joined NIP Group, a specialized business insurance and risk management intermediary, as its CIO. He reports to CEO Richard Augustyn. Delgrosso has 20 years of experience working in IT positions in the insurance industry. He most recently served as Everest National Insurance Company’s vice president of systems. In that position, he oversaw the development and management of the company’s business applications and network infrastructure. He previously worked for Prudential Insurance as a director of information systems.

The Arkansas Democrat-Gazette reported yesterday that Arkansas Governor Mike Beebe tapped Claire Bailey to serve as interim director of the state’s Office of Information Technology. Bailey currently serves as director of the state Department of Information Systems. She replaces Doug Elkins, whom Gov. Beebe chose not to rehire as the director of the Office of Info Tech in Dec.
