Gonzales Promoted to CIO of Crossmark

Holly Gonzales was promoted to CIO of Crossmark, a provider of business services for the consumer packaged goods industry, last month.  She most recently served as the vice president of the Plano, Texas-based company’s retail operations center.  Prior to that, she was Crossmark’s director of client development, director of operations for the team working with the Safeway supermarket chain, and director of operations for its convenience store group.  

Invacare named Dave Mewes as its new CIO on December 1. 

David Yakimischak accepted the EVP and CTO post at SureScripts. He is responsible for all information technology, support, and product development and management for the provider of electronic prescribing services.  Yakimischak reports to SureScripts’ COO, Rick Ratliff.  He joined the Alexandria, Va.-based company from Diet Channel Network, where he was CTO. The 25-year veteran of IT management previously worked for JStor, a non-profit archive of scholarly journals, electronic medical records software provider MedicaLogic and Dow Jones.

Tony Cira got a career boost in government.  The former executive director of infrastructure operations within the Department of Homeland Security’s CIO Office was named CIO of the Federal Emergency Management Agency, according to Government Computer News.
