Plus: DiamondCluster International Hires Former CIO of Chicago as Partner 

Ecount,  a provider of prepaid incentive and compensation programs, hired Baruch Katz as its new CIO.  Katz most recently worked as CTO of Adapt Media, a provider of technology for advertisers which he co-founded. Mazel Tov Mr. Katz! 

Stewart Gibson joined insurance and financial products distributor USI Holdings as its SVP and CIO.  He reports to the CFO, Robert Schneider.  Gibson comes to the Briarcliff Manor, NY-based company from Pitney Bowes, where he’s worked since 2000 in a variety of roles including vice president of solutions management, vice president of address management and data quality and vice president of e-business and product support.  Prior to Pitney Bowes, Gibson worked for efacility.com and GE.

The Chicago Sun-Times reported earlier this week on the former CIO of Chicago’s new gig.  Chris O’Brien, who stepped down from his post as the Windy City’s technology chief last month, is now working for the Chicago-based management consulting firm DiamondCluster International.
