I’m promise, I’ll have some new CIO announcements posted later today. In the meantime, I’d like to direct your attention to a screencast I created with the help of CIO’s multi-talented Technology Editor Chris Lindquist. The screencast shows how three leading-edge companies are using Flash, Ajax and video on their web sites to make them more dynamic and easier to use. It accompanies a story I wrote for the March 1, 2006 issue of CIO titled Flash In the Online Plan. The screencast is a new medium for CIO. I think they’re a great way to tell stories, to communicate and to educate due to the powerful way screencasts combine audio and video.
