Despite the weather, the summer has not been all that hot when it comes to the job market. While there have been a decent number of CIO openings, we still have “more kings than kingdoms,” which will still take some time for the market to absorb. That being said, September is off to a good start with a greater number of openings already than in the beginning of July and of August. The fourth quarter is typically a strong one for the executive search industry; let’s hope it holds up!
