RIM's new BlackBerry Beta Zone for Business lets enterprises test beta BlackBerry software, to help those businesses prepare for software releases and improve future products.

Research In Motion (RIM) today launched a new service that lets enterprises test beta BlackBerry software and services before their official releases.

From RIM:

“BlackBerry Beta Zone for Business offers a tailored experience for small, medium, and large businesses who want to experience and test the latest BlackBerry software and services prior to their market release.”

BlackBerry Beta Zone for Business gives participants early access to BlackBerry software and services and can help enterprises prepare and train for upcoming software releases, as well as influence future BlackBerry products and services by giving feedback to RIM.

RIM has operated a BlackBerry Beta Zone for consumers to let individuals test prerelease apps and services for some time, but the business-oriented component is new. The BlackBerry-maker also announced a redesigned Beta Zone interface.

I’ve been using the consumer Beta Zone since its release, and it’s a great way to get your hands on upcoming BlackBerry software before it is made public.
