CIO.com's mobile maestro Al Sacco goes hands-on with RIM's brand new BlackBerry Torch 9810 smartphone from AT&T. A handful of new BlackBerry smartphones are currently in the process of being released in North America, including the BlackBerry Torch 9810, Torch 9850/9860 and Bold 9900/9930.BlackBerry Torch 9810 I was lucky enough to get my hands on a Torch 9810 and Torch 9850, as well as a Bold 9930, ahead of their official releases, and I, along with my colleague Keith Shaw, decided to throw together a quick video walkthrough of each. (Check out my related Bold 9930 and Torch 9850 walkthroughs.) These videos aren’t meant to be full reviews. I plan to post up in-depth evaluations of the devices after I spend a week or so with the new BlackBerrys. But the clips will give you a good feel for what to expect from the three handhelds, from both a hardware and software perspective. (Note: I state in my video that the Torch 9810 is already available via AT&T in the United States; however, I jumped the gun there a bit. AT&T plans to release the Torch 9810 this coming Sunday, August 21.) Visit AT&T’s website for more information on the Torch 9810 or pop on over to RIM’s site for details.
