4 Websites That Find the Best Cyber Monday Deals for You

You only have so many hours in the (Cyber Mon)day, and wasting time perusing the Web for the best deals isn’t the best strategy – unless you already know exactly what you want. Thankfully, there are sites that aggregate scores of deals. Here are some of the best, along with examples of some of the deals they offer. (It’s also worth noting that many merchants are extending Cyber Monday through Tuesday, or pointing you to deals that will be available for even longer.)

First up, the appropriately named CyberMonday.com, which boasts deals from 800 retailers. Let’s say you need a printer, which is not the sexiest thing you can buy. But when you need one, who cares? I see printers with discounts of $40 and $50, and there are deals on ink and toner as well.

An Xbox is a lot more fun than a cheap printer cartridge, and you can snag an Xbox bundle at a discount of $69. That includes all the hardware, a 12-month subscription to Xbox Live and your choice of three games.

Dealio is not quite as big as CyberMonday.com, but it is very well organized and has handy links to lots of stuff, including smartphones and tablets. AT&T, for example, is selling Samsung’s Galaxy Tab 2.0 for $225, a discount of 50 percent. Need stuff for the home office? There are huge discounts at Office Depot, on printer paper, office furniture, laptops and more. You could save $50 on an HP Pavilion PC (sale price $250) with Microsoft Office 2013 Home & Student Edition.

Retailmenot.com is big on coupons for a wide variety of deals, many suggested by consumers, and it has links to things like Amazon’s Cyber Monday Deals Week page.  (You can sign up here for Amazon’s daily deal email for everyday bargains.) Today, for example, you can save $50 on a Kindle Fire HDX, or $59 on a Canon PowerShot A2600.

Not everything in life is digital, and you might want check out a deal on billiard tables, 40 percent off; save money on a variety of backpacks and other camping equipment from ALPS; or clothing, shoes and bedding at Macys.

Finally, I want to mention Pricegrabber.com. This is a site that lets you compare prices across a number of other sites and stores. While it’s not specifically geared to CyberMonday, if you already know what you want, you can easily find the best price using Pricegrabber. The site also includes ratings and user reviews of the sites it links to. The wide range of prices shows just how critical it is to do that comparison shopping. B&H, for example, is selling an HP Chromebook for $349, while Amazon charges $30 more and a number of other sites list prices approaching $500.
