CIO.com Senior Editor Al Sacco is on the scene in San Diego for CTIA's MobileCON 2012 conference, and he's providing images and commentary from the keynote addresses, the trade-show floor and everything else MobileCON 2012.

I’m in San Diego this week covering CTIA’s MobileCON 2012, a “user conference meets trade show” event for IT executives and professionals—and the writers and editors who cover enterprise IT. The conference was called CTIA Enterprise and Application in the past, but the industry organization rebranded it as MobileCON this year. (CTIA’s wireless show is still called CTIA Wireless>0

CTIA is providing a live video feed for its MobileCON keynote, but it’s unclear if the video feed will be embeddable or not. If so, I’ll drop it into this post as soon as possible. If not, you can watch the MobileCON keynote on the conference website. Here are some details on the keynotes for the first two days:

MobileCON Day One Keynote, 10.9.12 (9:30 am PT; 12:30 pm ET)

Scott Griffith, chairman and CEO, Zipcar; Steve Trilling, CTO, Symantec; and Bridget van Kralingen, SVP of global business services, IBM, will discuss BYOD, security and IT strategy.

MobileCON Day Two Keynote, 10.10.12 (9:00 am PT; 12 pm ET)

Robin Bienfait, CIO, Research In Motion (RIM); Sanjay Poonen, president of technology and innovation products, SAP; and Robert Wheeler, major general of the United States Air Force and deputy CIO for the U.S. Department of Defense’s C4 & Information Infrastructure Capabilities will discuss BYOD, the cloud, security and IT strategy.

I’m also doing a sort of ongoing “live blog” during my time in San Diego on my Google+ page, and I plan to provide images and insights on the keynote addresses, the trade show floor, vendor exhibits and the show in general. And I’ve already started updating my page with MobileCON-related content.

Add me to your Google+ Circles for my take on CTIA’s MobileCON 2012 event.
