As CIO of Black Knight, Peter Carrara will lead the IT Services group for the company, as well as manage and deploy all technology infrastructure planning. Previously, he was global head of infrastructure, managing director for Tradeweb, and prior to that was vice president, head of infrastructure, international businesses with RBC. Carrara has a Bachelor of Arts degree from Wagner College.

Steve Palmucci named CIO at Rentokil Steritech North America

Steve Palmucci joins Rentokil Steritech North America as CIO. Previously he worked at TiVo, where he was senior vice president and CIO. In his new role, Palmucci is responsible for enterprise systems, infrastructure, and IT security, and he will lead digital transformation to improve business operations and enhance the customer experience. Palmucci has a Bachelor of Science degree in computer science from The Catholic University of America and an MBA from St. Joseph’s University.

Minh Le named CIO at Checkers & Rallys

Minh Le joins Checkers & Rallys as CIO after previously working at Corner Bakery Café, where he was senior vice president of IT. Prior to that, he was vice president of IT for Romano’s Macaroni Grill. Le has a Bachelor of Science degree in computer science from the University of Central Florida.

Nexteer promotes Mike Rogers to CIO

Mike Rogers has been named CIO at Nexteer. Before taking this role, Rogers held the position of director, enterprise architecture for the company. Prior to Nexteer, he was with Hewlett Packard Enterprise. Rogers has a bachelor’s degree in computer science from DeVry University.

Interstate Hotels & Resorts names Andrew Arthurs CIO

As CIO at Interstate Hotels & Resorts, Andrew Arthurs is now responsible for the design and delivery of innovative IT solutions for the organization and its global portfolio of hotels. Previously, he was senior vice president and CIO for Two Roads Hospitality and senior director, IT for Vail Resorts. Arthurs has an undergraduate degree from the University of Vermont and an MBA from the University of Colorado at Boulder – Leeds School of Business.

Veritiv names Adam Noble senior vice president, global CIO

Adam Noble was named senior vice president, global CIO at Veritiv. Prior to that, he had worked at GAF for more than 13 years, most recently as senior vice president and CIO. In Noble’s new role, he is responsible for Veritiv’s IT strategy, systems, and policies, as well as working further enhance technology and operations after a recent multi-year integration. Noble has a Bachelor of Arts degree in political science from Binghamton University and a Master of Science degree in managerial systems analysis from Kean University.

Max Chan, who joined Avnet in 2013, has been named CIO. He was most recently vice president – IT, global business relationship management. As CIO, he heads up all IT for Avnet, including digital transformation and strategic business initiatives, as well as overseeing capabilities and resources for the global IT team. Chan has an Executive MBA from the University of Birmingham.

Jeff McVay promoted to CIO at Scientific Games

Jeff McVay has been named CIO at Scientific Games. Prior to that he was vice president of global IT infrastructure and operations for the company, which he joined in 2017 after several years as vice president of IT infrastructure and operations with Norwegian Cruise Line. McVay has a degree from Old Dominion University.

As CIO at West Monroe Partners, Albert Ruocco is responsible for establishing an IT vision and strategy that enables West Monroe’s people to work and collaborate anytime, anywhere to serve clients. Ruocco has more than 30 years of experience in digital and information technology, including serving in various CIO and transformative business consulting leadership roles. He was most recently with Gartner. Ruocco has a Bachelor of Arts degree in architecture from Yale University and an MBA in international business from Northwestern University – Kellogg School of Management.

Chris Bayham named CIO at Brookdale Senior Living

Chris Bayham joins Brookdale Senior Living from Change Healthcare, where he’d most recently been senior vice president, CIO, IT infrastructure, operations, and cloud services. In his new role as CIO at Brookdale Senior Living, Bayham is responsible for leading technology strategy, delivery, and operation and is a member of the company’s senior leadership. He is based in Brookdale’s corporate headquarters in Brentwood, Tennessee, and oversees a large team of associates in both the Brentwood and Milwaukee offices. Bayham has a Bachelor of Science degree in management information systems from the University of Alabama and an MBA from Northwestern University – Kellogg School of Management.

CommonSpirit Health welcomes Suja Chandrasekaran as CIO

Suja Chandrasekaran is the first senior executive vice president, chief information and digital officer at CommonSpirit Health. She joins the company from Kimberly-Clark, where she had been chief information & digital officer. She will be primarily responsible for creating digital capabilities to transform the patient experience and redesigning business processes with forward-looking technology and operating models that connect employees and physicians across different geographies and communities for the organization. Chandrasekaran has a Bachelor of Engineering and Electronics engineering degree from the University of Madras and a Master of Business Systems degree from Monash University.

Mike Caputo has been appointed CIO at Marist College. He was most recently the CIO of the Medical University of South Carolina with responsibilities for both the university and health system, and he has a deep background of IT leadership roles in both higher education and healthcare. Caputo holds a bachelor’s degree from Rochester Institute of Technology and a master’s degree from the University of Houston.

Matt Hough has been promoted to vice president, CIO at Cintas. Hough was most recently senior director of enterprise applications for the company and was previously with Pacific Gas and Electric Company. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree from American Sentinel University.

Sameer Badlani named CIO for Fairview Health Services

Sameer Badlani joins Fairview Health Services from Sutter Health, where he was chief health information officer (CHIO) and system vice president of enterprise data management/analytics. Prior to that, he was CHIO for Intermountain Healthcare. Badlani holds the following degrees: Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS), Medicine from Delhi University/University College of Medical Sciences.

Air New Zealand names Jennifer Sepull as chief digital officer

Jennifer Sepull comes to Air New Zealand with more than 20 years of IT leadership experience. She was previously CIO/senior vice president of information technology and digital services for USAA, as well as CIO/vice president of information technology services at Kimberly-Clark. Sepull holds a JD in International Law and Technology Legal Studies from Chapman University School of Law. And she is a technical board advisor with the London Stock Exchange Group.

Jeana Thomas named vice president and CIO for Pratt & Whitney

Jeana Thomas has been named vice president and CIO for Pratt & Whitney. Prior to that, she was executive director, global digital sales and service for Otis Elevator, as well as director of information technology at Sikorsky. She holds a bachelor’s degree in computer systems technology from Purdue University and an MBA from Indiana Wesleyan University.

He joins the organization from HNI Corporation, where he had been vice president and CIO for several years. Johnson has a Bachelor of Science degree in mechanical engineering from Clarkson University.

Carnival promotes Greg Sullivan to CIO

Greg Sullivan has been named CIO at Carnival. He had been vice president of information technology for the company and prior to that, he was CEO of Global Velocity. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in systems science & mathematics from Washington University in St. Louis.

Bonnie Titone named CIO at Duke Energy

As CIO of Duke Energy, Bonnie Titone will oversee IT operations and infrastructure, digital transformation, project delivery and support, as well as telecommunications for the firm. She was previously vice president of information business technology at Pacific Gas & Electric. Titone holds a Bachelor of Science degree in hotel restaurant & institutional management from Penn State University.

Eric Nelson promoted to CIO North America at Kraft Heinz

Eric Nelson has been named CIO North America at Kraft Heinz. He joined the firm in 2011 and was most recently director of logistics, information systems. Prior to that, he was director of manufacturing and procurement, information systems for the company. Nelson has a Bachelor of Science degree in information systems technology from Southern Illinois University, Carbondale.

Dave Peak appointed chief information & digital officer at PerkinElmer

David Peak has been named chief information & digital officer at PerkinElmer. Peak was formerly vice president of digital strategy & innovation at Humana, where he led enterprise digital strategy and operations for the firm. He holds a BA degree in economics from Middlebury College and an MBA from Northwestern University – Kellogg School of Management.

Kevin Lilly named senior vice president & CIO at Jeld-Wen

As senior vice president and CIO at Jeld-Wen, Kevin Lilly is responsible for setting global IT strategy and driving transformational change at the organization. He was previously vice president of IT at Ingersoll Rand and had previously worked for KPMG. Lilly has a Bachelor of Science degree in business administration from Houghton College.

Mark Macioce promoted to vice president and CIO at OMNOVA Solutions

Mark Macioce was promoted to vice president and CIO at OMNOVA Solutions. He had been global IT director at the company. Macioce holds a bachelor’s degree in management information systems from Penn State University and a master’s degree in computer science and engineering from Gannon University.

Trish Torizzo named senior vice president and CIO at Hologic

Trish Torizzo has been named senior vice president and CIO at Hologic. Prior to that, she held the same role at Houghton Mifflin Harcourt and had been divisional CIO for Charles River Laboratories before that. Torizzo holds a Bachelor’s of Applied Science in Industrial Engineering from the University of Central Florida.

Ramesh Razdan named new global CIO at Bain

As global CIO at Bain, Ramesh Razdan will primarily oversee the company’s digital transformation, helping the company’s clients employ digital in a holistic fashion. He was previously CTO and global head of product engineering with the Boston Consulting Group and was with Dell for many years prior to that. Razdan has a degree in electronics engineering from Savitribai Phule Pune University.

Sheri Rhodes joins Workday as CIO

Sheri Rhodes has joined Workday as CIO – only the company’s second one. She was formerly executive vice president and CTO for Western Union. She will have overall responsibility for all enterprise-wide IT systems, including go-to-market applications and Workday on Workday (WoW). Rhodes has an MBA in information systems from San Diego State University.

Varadheesh Chennakrishnan hired as CIO for JOANN Stores

As CIO for JOANN Stores, Varadheesh Chennakrishnan will oversee the integration of customer-facing technologies and the development of new operations systems, among other areas of responsibility. He joins the company from Ulta Beauty, where he was senior vice president of applications and enterprise architecture.

Chennakrishnan has a Bachelor of Engineering degree from the National Institute of Technology Tiruchirappalli, as well as a Master of Science degree from the Birla Institute of Technology and Science.

Stephen Aschettino named vice president, CIO for Deciphera Pharmaceuticals

In his new role, as vice president and CIO for Deciphera Pharmaceuticals, Stephen Aschettino will develop the IT roadmap for the organization. Previously, Aschettino was CIO and chief privacy officer for Sarepta Therapeutics, where he led the company’s global IT strategy and infrastructure builds to coincide with the incredibly successful launch of the firm’s first therapy. He has a Bachelor of Science degree in management of information systems from Babson College.
