He currently serves as the Corporate Vice President, Chief Information Officer of Sonoco, a global producer of consumer and industrial packaging solutions based in Hartsville, SC. At Sonoco, Johnson leads the Information Technology organization and is a member of the Executive Committee

Harrison Lewis appointed Senior Vice President, CIO with Grocery Outlet

Lewis brings more than 15 years of experience as a CIO in the grocery sector to Grocery Outlet, a retailer of consumables and fresh products sold through a network of independently owned and operated stores. He comes to the organization from Northgate Gonzalez, where he was most recently CIO, CPO, and Digital Business Head. Prior to that, he was Vice President and CIO with Haggen. Lewis has a B.S in Computer Engineering from Georgia Institute of Technology.

HP names Ron Guerrier as Global Chief Information Officer

Guerrier joins the $58B technology company from the State of Illinois, where he served as CIO and Secretary of Innovation & Technology since February 2019. Prior to that, he was CIO for Express Scripts, CIO for Farmers Insurance, as well as CIO for Toyota North America. Guerrier holds a Bachelors in Economics and Finance from University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign – College of Business and a Master’s degree in Operations Management and Supervision from North Park University.

Cigna names Noelle Eder as Global CIO

Eder will oversee Cigna’s global IT strategy and will head up the development and delivery of next-generation capabilities and solutions for the $153B life and health insurance organization. She joins the company from Hilton Worldwide Holdings, where she was Chief Information and Digital Officer. She had previously held senior IT leadership roles with Capital One and Intuit. Eder holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Boston University.

Bridgestone Americas appoints Taren Rodabaugh as CIO

Rodabaugh joins the company from Harley-Davidson, where she was also CIO. In her new role, she will lead IT strategy and operations for the $16B tire maker, supporting its continuing development as a sustainable mobility and advanced solutions company. Rodabaugh holds a Bachelor of Science in Manufacturing Engineering Management from Miami University, and an MBA from Northwestern University – Kellogg School of Management.

Pacific Gas & Electric names Ajay Waghray as Senior Vice President and CIO

Waghray joins the organization from Agni Growth Ventures, where he served as Managing Partner for the last year. Prior to that, he was CTO for Assurant. In his new role, he will define and execute an IT strategy and roadmap in support of PG&E Corporation and its utility subsidiary, Pacific Gas and Electric Company. Waghray holds a BE Hons degree in Mechanical Engineering from Birla Institute of Technology and Science, Pilani, an MS degree in Computer Science from West Virginia University, and an MBA from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.

Walt Disney Company hires Diane Jurgens as CIO

Jurgens will have responsibility for all of the $69B media company’s enterprise technology, including business systems, infrastructure, workforce enablement, as well as for planning, operations and execution of Disney IT systems. She joins the organization from BHP, where she was CTO for several years, based in Singapore. She had previously held several senior IT leadership roles with General Motors. Jurgens has both a Bachelors and a Masters in Electrical Engineering from the University of Washington, and an MBA from Seattle University.

Zylo appoints Adobe CIO Cynthia Stoddard to its Board of Directors

Stoddard, Senior Vice President and CIO with Adobe, has joined the board of directors for Zylo, the SaaS management platform for cloud-forward enterprises. She has been with Adobe since 2016, and prior to that held the same title with NetApp for several years. Stoddard earned a Bachelor of Science in accounting from Western New England College and an MBA from Marylhurst University.

Sempra Energy promotes Ben Gordon to Senior Vice President, CIO and Chief Digital Officer

Gordon joined the Fortune 500 energy infrastructure company, which is based in San Diego, in 2018 as Vice President Information Technology. Previously he was Vice President of Engineering for Molina Healthcare and prior to that he had been CTO with 3RP. Gordon holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry from Northern Arizona University and received his Doctorate degree in Chemistry from the University of Florida.

Goodwill Industries International appoints Dru Rai as CIO

Goodwill, a community-based non-profit workforce provider, brings Rai onboard to leverage his more than 30 years of IT leadership. He will oversee IT operations and digital transformation and innovation for the organization. Most recently, he was Interim Chief Digital & Chief Information Officer for Cooper Tire and Rubber, and had previously been Chief Digital Officer and Global CIO for Ball Corporation, as well as Senior Vice President Digital Transformation and CIO with DuPont. Rai holds a Bachelor’s degree from GB Pan University in India and an MBA from the University of Connecticut.

Nuvance Health appoints Geoff Hook as CIO

Hook will oversee IT strategy, administration and operations to help drive the Danbury, CT-based hospital system’s digital goals. He had been serving as Nuvance’s interim CIO, and prior to that, he was  Chief Digital Officer for the company.

Shiseido Americas names Shannon Britton as CIO

Britton leads technology strategy, deployment and IT operations for the Americas region of the cosmetics and skins care manufacturer. She joined the organization from Diageo, where she had been for the last several years, most recently as Vice President, Digital & Technology – Americas. Britton has a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Connecticut and holds an MBA from Columbia University – Columbia Business School.

Black & Veatch appoints Irvin Bishop Jr. as CIO

Prior to that, she was General Manager, Ad Tech for Imagine Communications. She has more than 25 years of experience. In her new role, Foss will oversee all aspects of enterprise technology systems and programs. Foss holds a Bachelors in Communications from Pacific Lutheran University and a Masters in Management/Telecommunications from Ohio University.

She joins the company from Hunt Consolidated, where she was Senior Vice President and Chief Digital and Information Officer. Schwarz holds a BS in Mechanical Engineering and English from the University of Notre Dame, and an MBA in Marketing from the University of Chicago – Booth School of Business.

Zeeshan Sheikh appointed Senior Vice President, Chief Information and Digital Officer for PSEG

Ryan Hummel promoted to CIO at Planet Group

Schiereck holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Information Systems and Accounting from the Leonard N. Stern School of Business at New York University and an MBA from Lehigh University.

Generac Power Systems names Tim Dickson as CIO

Hy Cite Enterprises names Phil Smart as CIO

Smart joins the organization from Tupperware, where he had been for more than 20 years, most recently as Global Digital Technology Executive (CIO/CTO). Smart holds an undergraduate degree from Queen’s University Belfast, and an MBA from Crummer Graduate School of Business at Rollins College.

Tom Farrah joins Vistra as Senior Vice President and CIO

Farrah, with 30 years of IT experience, joined the organization from Keurig Dr Pepper, where he was most recently Senior Vice President of Business Transformation. In his new role, he will ensure the reliability, security and ongoing development of the technology platforms for the organization, as well as deliver new solutions that support the business. Farrah holds a Bachelor's degree in computer science and mathematics from the University of Windsor, Canada.

OneAmerica names Jose Martinez as Senior Vice President and CIO

Martinez joined the organization several years ago and took on the CIO role in an interim capacity in 2019. He had previously been Vice President, IT Infrastructure and Application Support, and Vice President, Business Relationship Management and Enterprise Architecture for the company, and has prior experience at Interactive Intelligence and IBM. Martinez holds both a BME and an MSME in Mechanical Engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology.

Alphia names Robert Long as CTO/CIO

Magellan Midstream Partners names Bhupesh Arora as Vice President, CIO

Arora joins the organization from Avery Dennison, where he had been for many years, most recently as Senior Director, Digital Innovation, Enterprise Architecture and Intelligent Labels. Prior to that he had been with Hyundai and Nissan in various IT roles. Arora has a Bachelor of Engineering degree from Fr. Conceicao Rodrigues College of Engineering and an MBA in MIS/Finance from the Eller College of Management at University of Arizona.

Orgill names Marc Hamer as Executive Vice President, Chief Digital and Information Officer

Fifth Third Bank names Linda Clement-Holmes to Board of Directors

Clement-Holmes, retired CIO of Procter & Gamble, will serve on the Technology Committee for Fifth Third’s board. She had been with P&G from 1983 to 2018. She brings leadership in information technology, as well as in diversity and inclusion. Clement-Holmes also serves on the board of Cincinnati Financial Corporation and holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering/Industrial Management – Computer Science from Purdue University.
