Bigelow holds a BS degree in biology/chemistry from Tusculum University and a Master of Science in computer science from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville.

Daniel Curling promoted to senior vice president and CIO at Asurion

Daniel Curling has been named senior vice president and CIO at Asurion. Promoted from vice president of enterprise technology services, he will now oversee core technology operations and security for the company. He was previously vice president of delivery at Sabre Hospitality Solutions. Curling has a bachelor’s degree in MIS from Texas A&M University.

Exide Technologies names Brian Woodworth senior vice president and CIO

Brian Woodworth has been named senior vice president and CIO at Exide Technologies. Formerly CIO for Phillips Pet Food & Supplies, he will lead IT for Exide via innovation and with a solid technology infrastructure. He holds a BS degree in computer science from the University of Michigan.

Keith Schlosser named CIO at AXIS Capital

As CIO of AXIS Capital, Keith Schlosser will lead global IT strategy for the firm, with an emphasis on growth, digital, and change initiatives. He was previously executive vice president and CIO for Chubb International. Schlosser holds a degree from Western Connecticut State University.

TruGreen appoints Ayman Taha to CIO

Ayman Taha was named CIO at TruGreen. Previously, he was senior vice president of enterprise technology solutions at MGM Resorts. In his new role, he will be responsible for digital technology development.

Stuart Kippelman named CIO at Parsons

As CIO at Parsons, Stuart Kippelman will be tasked with collaborating with business leaders on IT innovations, standards, data analytics, business intelligence, infrastructure, security, and technical services, among other areas. He was previously CIO at Johnson & Johnson and Covanta. Kippelman has a BS degree in both business and information systems and an MBA in technology management from the University of Phoenix.

Lowe’s appoints Seemantini Godbole as CIO

As CIO at Lowe’s, Seemantini Godbole will oversee all IT strategies and initiatives for the company. She joins the firm from Target, where she was senior vice president (technology). Godbole has a Bachelor of Engineering degree from the National Institute of Technology in India and a Master of Science degree in Computer Science from Texas Tech University.

Raj Kalathur named CIO for Deere and Company

Raj Kalathur, previously senior vice president and CFO for Deere and Company, adds CIO to his title. This move will help position IT as a strategic competitive advantage for the company. Kalathur has a MS degree in industrial engineering from the University of Alabama and an MBA from the University of Chicago – Booth School of Business.

CNO Financial names Mike Mead senior vice president and CIO

Mike Mead has been named senior vice president and CIO at CNO Financial.In these roles, he will oversee the development and implementation of strategy for information systems and infrastructure across the enterprise. Mead joined the firm from AIG, where he was most recently senior vice president, transformation executive. He has a BBA degree from Texas Tech University and an MBA from Southern Methodist University.

Twila Day now vice president and CIO for Huntsman

Twila Day has been named vice president and CIO at Huntsman. Prior to that, Day was managing director for Alvarez & Marsal and previously worked for Genesys Works Houston and Sysco. Day has a Bachelor of Arts degree from Our Lady of the Lake University.

Atilla Tinic named senior vice president and CIO for DISH

As senior vice president and CIO at DISH, Atilla Tinic is responsible for delivering best-in-class customer, employee, and partner experiences via innovation across DISH’s brands. He was most recently senior vice president enterprise BSS & international IT with CenturyLink, where he’d held many senior IT leadership roles over the course of several years. Tinic has a BA degree from Western University and a MS degree from the University of Denver.

Alan Douville promoted to CIO at Stryker

Alan Douville has been named CIO at Stryker. Prior to this position, he was vice president of global IS services and Asia Pacific IS for the company and was previously with Whirlpool Corporation. He holds both a bachelor’s degree and an MBA from the University of Maine.

John Kehoe named CIO for Xylem

John Kehoe has been named CIO at Xylem. Prior to that, he was senior vice president and CIO for Valmont Industries and previously had been with Rockwell Collins for many years. He has a BS degree from Friends University and an MBA from Belhaven University.

Joseph Pekala appointed senior vice president and CIO at Owens & Minor

In his new role as senior vice president and CIO at Owens & Minor, Joseph Pekala will be responsible for the firm’s overall technology direction, including global IT services, platform delivery, and technology for the company’s products, services, and internal initiatives. He was previously senior vice president and CIO for ACCO Brands. Pekala holds a bachelor’s degree from Mercer University and an MBA from the University of Georgia.

Kristin Darby now enterprise CIO with Envision Healthcare

Kristin Darby has been named enterprise CIO at Envision Healthcare. Previously, she was CIO with Cancer Treatment Centers of America, as well as CIO and vice president for Tenet Healthcare. She holds a BS degree from the University of South Florida and an MBA from Henley Management College in England.

Bryon Clymer appointed CIO for Lockton

Currently a board member for United Natural foods, Clark was formerly senior vice president and CIO for both Estee Lauder and Hasbro. She received a BS degree from the University of Missouri – Columbia and an MBA from San Jose State University.

Merck names Jim Scholefield as chief information and digital officer

In his new role as chief information and digital officer at Merck, Jim Scholefield will be responsible for the company’s IT and digital strategy. He was previously global CIO for Nike and CTO for the Coca-Cola Company. Scholefield has a BS degree from Florida State University and an MSM/MBA from Georgia Institute of Technology.

Pivotal names Madelyn Lankton to its board of directors

Madelyn Lankton has been appointed to Pivotal’s board of directors. Lankton, with her deep record of driving innovation and IT transformation, was most recently executive vice president and CIO with Travelers Insurance. She holds a degree from Central Connecticut State University.

Marc Carlson promoted to CIO with Land O’Lakes

Marc Carlson has been named CIO of Land O’Lakes. He had been vice president of information technology at the company, and before that he was global director of IS for Boston Scientific. Carlson has a BBA in MIS from Iowa State University – Ivy College of Business and an MBA from University of Minnesota – Carlson School of Management.

Avi Dasgupta promoted to senior vice president – CIO with Monro

Avi Dasgupta has been named senior vice president – CIO at Monro. He joined the firm earlier this year as vice president of IT Infrastructure and Data Architecture. Previous experience includes several IT leadership roles with Constellation Brands and Xerox. He has a BE degree in computer science and engineering from Jadavpur University, a MS degree in computer science from William & Mary, and an MBA from the University of Rochester – William E. Simon Graduate School of Business.

John Dykstra promoted to CIO with Skanska USA

He was formerly vice president - IT Services Delivery and was previously vice president and CIO with Octapharma Plasma. He has a BA degree from Calvin College.

Moody’s hires Mona Breed as CIO                          

As CIO of Moody’s, Mona Breed will oversee the global technology infrastructure for the company. She was previously senior vice president of infrastructure for Oppenheimer Funds. Breed has a BA degree from Emory University.

Dinu Parel appointed vice president – CIO at Parker Hannifin

Dinu Parel has been named CIO of Parker Hannifin. He comes from Dover Corporation, where he had been CIO. Parel had been previously employed by Baker Hughes. He has both a bachelor’s degree and a master’s degree in computer engineering from Stevens Institute of Technology, as well as an MBA from Jones Graduate School of Business at Rice University.

Vail Resorts promotes Tim April as senior vice president and CIO

Tim April has been named senior vice president and CIO at Vail Resorts. He was formerly vice president of IT and guest experience for the company. In his new role, April will oversee all facets of technology, including innovative enhancements to the guest experience and best-in-class systems for the company. April received a bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering from the University of Notre Dame.

Pacific Gas & Electric promotes Kathy Kay to senior vice president and CIO

Kathy Kay has been promoted to senior vice president and CIO at Pacific Gas & Electric. Kay was formerly vice president of business technology for the company and was previously employed by SunTrust Bank as enterprise chief technology officer. Kay has a BS degree in computer science from Wayne State University and an MS degree in engineering science from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute.

Darryl Staskowski promoted to senior vice president and CIO at Kelly Services

Darryl Staskowski has been named senior vice president and CIO at Kelly Services. He was previously vice president of information security and vice president of global infrastructure with the firm. He had formerly been with TRW Automotive. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in computer science, mathematics from Western Michigan University.

Jason Joseph promoted to CIO for Spectrum Health
