Jude Schramm has been named executive vice president and CIO for Fifth Third Bancorp. Schramm will lead all of the IT organization. He joined the company from GE Aviation, where he had been for many years, and had most recently been CIO. He has a BBA in information systems from the University of Cincinnati College of Business.

Jeff Wilkinson named CIO for Delaware North

Jeff Wilkinson joins Delaware North from GE, where he was vice president and commercial CIO. In his new role as GE’s CIO, he has oversight of enterprise-wide IT functions and infrastructure. Prior to GE, Wilkinson was vice president of global information delivery (chief data officer) at AmerisourceBergen. He holds a BS in computer information sciences from Gwynedd-Mercy College and a M.E. in engineering science, software engineering from Penn State.

Cindy Taibi promoted to senior vice president and CIO at The New York Times

Cindy Taibi

Cindy Taibi is a 37-year veteran of The New York Times and is the company’s first female CIO. She has held several roles within the company, most recently vice president of technology. In her new role, she will oversee networks, phones, and computers worldwide, as well as infrastructure and productivity tools and systems for internal functions. Taibi also co-leads the company’s Women in Technology group. She holds a BS in computer science and applied mathematics from the University at Albany.

Analytic Partners hires Terri Sage as CTO

Terri Sage

Terri Sage has been named CTO of Analytic Partners. She brings 30 years of experience in engineering, analytics, and architecture to her new role. Most recently, Sage held the position of vice president – engineering, analytics, and reporting at McGraw-Hill Education. She has a bachelor’s degree in computer science and a master’s degree in systems engineering from George Mason University in Fairfax, Virginia, plus a Ph.D. in business from Capella University.

Anthony Mustoe named CIO with EMSI

Anthony Mustoe has been named CIO at EMSI. Mustoe brings more than 20 years of experience in IT leadership to the company. He was formerly CIO of Compass Professional Health Services. He has a Bachelor of Science degree in computer science from Baylor University.

Jay Smith

Jay Smith joins TracFone Wireless from World Fuel Services, where he was the Global Segment CIO/BIO for the last several years. Prior to that, he was vice president of application development at the company. Smith will be heading up an IT transformation initiative in his new role, as well as other critical projects. He has a BS in computer engineering from the University of Central Florida.

Prakash Kota promoted to CIO at Autodesk

Prakash Kota has been named CIO at Autodesk where he most recently held the role of vice president of IT, and prior to that was senior director of Infrastructure & Enterprise Ops. He joined Autodesk in 2005 and has held a series of successively more responsible leadership roles in IT. He has a Bachelor of Engineering degree from the University of Madras and a MS in Electrical Engineering from Oklahoma State University.

Bradley Strock joins Elevate board of directors

Bradley Strock, the CIO for PayPal – where he is leading the transformation of that company’s operations platforms to support dramatic user growth – recently joined Elevate’s board. In this capacity, he will help the firm fulfill its mandate of providing solutions to help non-prime consumers with their current financial stresses, as well as providing long-term solutions for them.

Christopher Coye now senior vice president IT & CIO for Skechers

In Christopher Coye’s new role as senior vice president IT & CIO for Skechers, he oversees the IT department and is responsible for IT strategy and application development and implementations. He joined the company from Disney ABC Television Group, where he was CIO for several years. He holds a BA in history/business from the University of Nevada, Reno.

Novlet Mattis now CIO for Orlando Health

As CIO of Orlando Health, Novlet Mattis is responsible for establishing the vision and direction of the company’s IS in tandem with its global corporate strategy. In addition, Mattis oversees the entire IT division. Mattis was previously vice president of IT for Ascension Information Services. She holds a Bachelor of Business Administration from Howard University and a MBA from George Washington University.

Laura Miller promoted to CIO at Intercontinental Hotel Group

Laura Miller has been named CIO at Intercontinental Hotel Group. Prior to that, she was senior vice president of Global Solutions Delivery and then interim CIO for the company. Before joining Intercontinental Hotel Group, she was with First Data for several years. Miller has a BS in information systems management from the University of Maryland Baltimore County and a MS in Computer Systems Management from the University of Maryland University College.

Robert Eardley returns to University Hospitals as CIO

Robert Eardley has been named CIO of University Hospitals. He was most recently senior vice president, CIO, CISO for Houston Methodist Hospital. Previously, he had been with University Hospitals for several years in the roles of vice president, associate CIO, and division information officer. Eardley has a BBA from the University of Florida and a MBA from Duke University.

Jim Dray joins Thornton Tomasetti as CIO

Jim Dray brings more than 30 years of IT experience to international engineering firm Thornton Tomasetti. As CIO, he will oversee all IT operations at the company, including infrastructure, network services, security, application management, and end-user support. Dray was most recently vice president of IT at AECOM. He holds a BA from Wesleyan University and an MBA from Harvard Business School.

Unum names Puneet Bhasin chief information and digital officer

Puneet Bhasin has been named chief information and digital officer at Unum. He was most recently executive vice president of corporate operations and president of recycling for Waste Management. In his new role, Bhasin will lead the execution of the firm’s long-term IT strategic vision and objectives, including heading up Unum’s multi-year digital transformation journey, translating the company’s business plan into a technology, product, and services roadmap. Bhasin has a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from VIsvesvaraya National Institute of Technology and a MS in operations research from Ohio State University.

Hilton names Noelle Eder executive vice president and chief information and digital officer

Noelle Eder joins Hilton as executive vice president and chief information and digital officer. As such, Eder will be responsible for leading the digital transformation — such as digital key smartphone capabilities and connected rooms that integrate entertainment, lighting, and temperature — for guests and staff. She joins the company from Capital One, where she was chief card customer experience officer and executive vice president of customer experience and operations. Previously, she had been with Intuit for several years. Eder holds a bachelor’s degree from Boston University.

Ingram Micro appoints Tom Peck to top IT spot

Tom Peck, formerly with AECOM for several years as senior vice president and CIO, is now executive vice president and chief information & digital officer at Ingram Micro. He is responsible for global technology strategy and support, as well as for improving the digital experience of all customers and associates. Peck was also formerly senior vice president and CIO with Levi Strauss & Co. and MGM Mirage. He has a BS in economics from the U.S. Naval Academy and a MS in management from the Naval Postgraduate School.

Stephen Gallagher appointed CIO at Stanford University

As CIO at Stanford University, Stephen Gallagher will oversee IT for the university in this newly created role. He will also co-lead the CIO Council, which is made up from CIOs from each of the schools and departments for Stanford. Gallagher was formerly CIO at Harvard Business School for several years, as well as CIO and vice president for IT Services at the University of San Francisco. Gallagher has a BS from MIT and an MBA from Harvard Business School.

Beacon Health Options names Dan Sheehan executive vice president and CIO

Dan Sheehan was named executive vice president and CIO at Beacon Health Options where he will head up the IT vision, strategy, and execution for the national behavioral health management company. Most recently, he was senior vice president and CIO at DentaQuest. Sheehan is on the boards of Ninkasi Technologies and the YMCA of Greater Boston. He holds a BSBA in computer information systems from Suffolk University and an MBA from Salem State College.

Suja Chandrasekaran appointed to American Eagle Outfitters’ board

Suja Chandrasekaran, currently the CIO with Kimberly-Clark, will bring her considerable global retail and consumer products industry experience to bear as an independent director on American Eagle Outfitters’ board. Additionally, Chandrasekaran will be called upon for her IT, digital, and leadership expertise. She has a Bachelor of Engineering degree from the University of Madras, India, and a Master of Business Systems from Monash University in Melbourne, Australia.

Anup Nair named CIO for West Corporation

Anup Nair, in the newly created position of CIO, will lead West Corporation’s technology strategy, systems integration, as well as development, infrastructure, security, and data analytics. He was previously CIO and then CTO for Vantiv (WorldPay). Nair also led several payment divisions at Barclays Bank, and he held other IT leadership roles at Morgan Stanley and Citibank.

Paul Browne

Paul Browne joins Henry Ford Health System as senior vice president and CIO. Browne has a deep background in healthcare IT leadership roles, most recently having been CIO and senior vice president of applied informatics for Tenet Healthcare. Prior to that, he was CIO and senior vice president for strategic program development at Trinity Health.

Browne’s experience has a heavy emphasis on leading transformational change and developing business and clinical intelligence capabilities, as well as in the insurance industry, according to a recent release.

Browne holds a bachelor’s degree in economics and master’s degree in health services administration from the University of Michigan.

Scott Case announced as successor CIO at SunTrust

SunTrust Bank recently announced CIO Anil Cheriyan will retire at the end of March 2018. Scott Case will join the firm in early February as his successor. Case was most recently CIO at Ciox Health and previously had been CTO at SunTrust.

Case’s goal will be to take an omnichannel approach to continue momentum in transforming the bank’s IT system, as well as to build an agile culture. He holds a BS degree in management science and marketing from State University of New York Geneseo and an MBA in finance from UNC Charlotte Belk College of Business.

Gautam Roy was recently named CIO of WASH Multifamily Laundry Systems. Roy brings more than 25 years of technology leadership to WASH. In this role, he will partner with business to drive business and digital transformation. He is also responsible for building a world-class, digital platform to serve B2B and B2C customers and delivering a value-added and differentiated experience.

Previously, Roy was vice president of IT with Waste Management for several years. He holds a BS degree in electrical engineering from University of Maryland College Park and an MBA from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University.

Larry Roos was named CIO at Kobie Marketing. In this role, he will lead IT strategy and will ensure the company delivers best-in-class services to clients through data-driven technology, according to a recent release.

Roos was formerly vice president of corporate technology at Bloomin’ Brands, as well as CIO and senior vice president ecommerce at FreshDirect. He has a BS degree from the University of Central Florida and an MBA from Florida Institute of Technology.

Maneesh Gidwani named CIO for Florida Ice & Farm Company

Maneesh Gidwani has been named CIO of Florida Ice & Farm Company. He was formerly CIO for Florida Bebidas. In his new role with the consumer goods, retail and hospitality company, Gidwani is responsible for leading the digital transformation for the company to accelerate value delivery, deliver tangible bottom-line results, and drive growth across the business.

Gidwani has a BS degree in biochemistry from Imperial College in London and a Master of Science degree in decision sciences from the London School of Economics and Political Science.
