Dan Burkland is responsible for global sales, including all direct, channels, and business development across all markets. During his 7 years at Five9, Dan has grown annual revenues from under $20 million to over $160 million. He is also responsible for all implementation, professional services, and customer support organizations. His organizations cover the entire customer life cycle from sales to implementation to ongoing support, all critical to customer success from a Cloud Software company.

Dan has more than 25 years of experience building and scaling successful sales and leadership teams. Before Five9, Dan was SVP of Sales at Transera Communications. He also ran worldwide sales for IP Unity, growing the business tenfold, and held sales management positions at Cisco and GeoTel.

Dan's approach to enterprise sales is rooted in extensive experience selling cloud contact center and telecommunications solutions. He hires sales reps with deep industry expertise who share his passion for exceeding customer expectations.
