Paul Whimpenny

Paul Whimpenny has more than 30 years in working in the IT industry and is currently leading the Digital Strategy and Governance team for a large United Nations body (FAO) looking to exploit digital opportunities in a very diverse and global organization.

Paul has been in senior management roles in FAO for more than a decade covering all aspects of IT including leading project and operations teams, developing IT strategies and driving the move to the Cloud, managing the business relationships function, instilling a culture of innovation and developing the Digital Strategy for the organization.

Previously, Paul worked in various technical and team leader roles ranging from software development to system administration and network management.
