Ryan Allphin

Ryan has been a technologist and leader in the industry for over 24 years including 13+ years driving innovation within device and network security. In large and small organizations, he has developed teams and technologies from idea inception to proven market results. As CTO at Cradlepoint, Ryan’s role includes running worldwide research and development to define and deliver innovative technologies for the distributed and mobile enterprise. Prior to joining Cradlepoint, Allphin worked for 13 years at McAfee, an Intel company, most recently as senior vice president and general manager of the security management business unit. He was responsible for worldwide research and development, product management, and business go-to-market programs for security management, data and risk analytics, threat intelligence, and compliance solutions. Previously he spent 7 years within engineering at Novell. Ryan earned his bachelor’s degree in computer science from Utah Valley University.
