Jill Barson Gilbert is a thought leader on environment, health & safety (EHS) and sustainability software solutions. Founder, President and Chief Executive Officer of Lexicon Systems, LLC, she is a trusted advisor to C-level IT, business and marketing executives in global organizations in a range of industries.

Ms. Gilbert helps clients to navigate the systems life cycle, with a special interest in software business requirements, software evaluation and selection and organizational change management. She is a trusted advisor on large and complex information systems and strategic marketing initiatives. Ms. Gilbert applies 30+ years of industrial, management consulting and software product management expertise to help clients manage risk and make better-informed decisions.

Further, she monitors the EHS and sustainability software market and emerging information technologies. She reports trends via the Lexicon Systems, LLC blog, speaking engagements and writing. Ms. Gilbert writes the “IT Insight” column for EM magazine and has over 150 articles and publications to her credit. She was technical program director for a 55-session, 500-person software user group conference.

Ms. Gilbert earned an M.S. from the University of San Francisco, a B.A. from Miami University in Oxford, Ohio, a Rice Program for Managers certificate from Rice University in Houston, and is a Qualified Environmental Professional (QEP). She is listed in Who's Who in America, Who's Who in the World, Who's Who in the Southwest among other biographical directories. She is Director of the IPEP Foundation, also past Vice President and Director of the Air & Waste Management Association.
