Scott Diehl is a 20-year veteran of the software industry who leads the national platform and servers practice at Magenic. In that role, he's primarily responsible for supporting and growing organizational capabilities in the areas of data and analytics delivery, content and collaboration, system integration, and related cloud technologies at both the national and regional levels.

The four pillars of his current role are delivery oversight, internal advocacy, sales support and external evangelism. Other important parts of Scott’s mandate include thought leadership, consultant mentorship, skills growth and coordination among the diverse constituencies that make up this practice area.

Magenic’s platform and servers capabilities include SQL Server (and component services including SSAS, SSRS, SSIS, and MDS), Power BI, SharePoint (on-premises and online), BizTalk, and related Azure-based tools and services. Scott’s platform team works closely with other practice areas and services organizations -- Magenic Studios (UX), mobile, application development (.Net and Web), quality assurance and the project center PMO -- to deliver integrated solutions that meet the custom requirements of Magenic clients.

Prior to joining Magenic, Scott held a number of software development and development management roles in which he implemented solutions or led teams to create solutions for numerous markets, including health insurance, healthcare, retail, finance, emergency management, life sciences, Web analytics, manufacturing, construction management and management training.

Scott's comprehensive experience with systems architecture, business process and requirements analysis, development team management and project coordination make him equally capable of detailed implementation, high-level modeling, technical personnel management and enterprise data strategy.

A member of Magenic’s technology leadership team, Scott’s primary technical domain is business intelligence, data and analytics, where he advocates strongly for business-driven approaches to data warehouse systems and guides teams to deliver recognizable value early and often.
