Warwickshire County Council is smaller than its historical past, which included areas of Birmingham as well as the cities of Coventry and Solihull. Today the council is still based in the county town of Warwick, but Nuneaton is its largest town. The council is already using virtualisation at server level with mobile devices. Future transformation and technology vision for the organisation:Warwickshire County Council want to develop web services and make information about the council more public by opening data to the community. The council is looking at a consumerisation agenda to allow the workforce to use iPads and Blackberry devices for work.
