Private healthcare company Bupa has expanded from Britain to have a presence in three continents and now has 10 million customers in over 200 countries. Its main service is provided through the private health insurance policies it offers or to customers who can pay for medical treatment personally. Technologies considered by the leader to offer their organisation potential:Bupa has already done a significant amount of virtuallisation and has built a private cloud and is already hosting some of its services on it. Jetha admits that security concerns about cloud computing are holding it back. Bupa has put a few services onto Salesforce. The organisation will continue to grow the usage of SaaS and expects its sales operations to become more multi-channel. How do you see technology transforming your organisation in the near future?There will be more Apps and online health assessment and risk assessment zones.
