The Department of Energy and Climate Change (DECC) is a British government department created on 3 October 2008 by Prime Minister Gordon Brown to take over some of the functions related to energy of the Department for Business, Enterprise and Regulatory Reform and those relating to climate change of the Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs. It is led by the Secretary of State for Energy and Climate Change, currently the Rt Hon Ed Davey MP. The majority of DECC's spending is on managing the UK's historic nuclear sites, 69% of DECC budget goes to the Nuclear Decommissioning Authority, and this is expected to increase when the last of the UK's Magnox reactors are shut down and no longer produce an income. How do you influence and engage executives, place the right controls around employee choice and engage with the organisation on this issue?Yes.  Although we are not operating BYOD within central governemnt at the moment.  Setting a clear guidance and accountability for the information we hold and use supported by appropriate technical controls.  We expect to revisit as product offers for secure BYOD mature.
