The auto parts distributor deployed a central ERP system that provides customer relationship and inventory management for its headquarters and 218 franchises. Unlike competitors who rely largely on printed catalogs, 1-800-Radiator's franchisees can use the Web-based system to quickly source parts that their customers need from any major manufacturer. In addition, the system tracks data on customer contacts, including purchases. Regular analysis of customer data provides franchisees with sales and marketing strategies. The system enabled the company to nearly double its revenue in four years.
