2009 Winner Profile

Panasonic Corporation of North America

Project Description:
Panasonic used SAP ERP central component to develop a standard business process across eight Panasonic divisions that traditionally operated independently of one another. This standardization allowed for a single set of master data, flexible reporting and, among other things, a consolidated invoice for the customer. Panasonic says it has achieved over $21 million in operational savings over the last three years by streamlining operations and has created a one-stop-shop for corporate clients, eliminating divisional barriers.
