The Virginia Beach university established a marketing management system that combines online dataincluding click-through rates and cost per clickwith offline data like enrollment and acceptance ratesin order to better understand which online marketing efforts are most successful at increasing student enrollment. Aided by the increased information, Regent says it has been able to follow up with recruits more efficiently, tripling the number of recruits and decreasing its cost per recruit by an average of 64 percent.
