University of Pennsylvania

Project Description:
The University of Pennsylvania is in the midst of a multiyear Unified Communications project with four main components: Automatic Call Distribution, a modernized, centralized system capable of automated functions such as routing after-hours calls to a specified cell number; PennNet Phone, a cost-effective voice-over-IP implementation based on open-source software; Silobeth, an open-source single-sign-on solution that can be used within the university or across organizational boundaries; and the Zimbra Collaboration Suite.
