2013 Winner Profile

Allstate Roadside Services

Project Description:
Allstate Roadside Services, seeking to reinvent the service experience for its customers and service providers, developed an integrated online and mobile digital dispatch system called RoadSmart. Customers can request roadside assistance with a free mobile app, which initiates the dispatch process. The app uses the phone's GPS and mapping functions to allow the consumer to pinpoint their exact location, making them easier for the service provider to find. Location and other customer data is transmitted to the service provider via a Web application called RoadSmart Gateway, so the right service can reach the right customer quicker than ever. Through the integration of mobile and Web applications and legacy IT infrastructure, Allstate has been able to markedly differentiate itself from its competition.
