2013 Winner Profile

Edenred USA

Project Description:
Edenred built the Flex Commute Network 3.0 (FCN Pro)-the industry's first self-service, private-labeled, code-compliant portal-to administer commuter benefits to workers. Edenred serves three constituents with this portal: affiliates such as public transit agencies and parking locations, beneficiaries (employees) who can access the portal through various devices as offered by their employers. FCN Pro allows beneficiaries to log in and place orders allowed by their benefits package, then the platform creates payroll deduction reports integrated with employer payroll systems and triggers protocols that disburse funds to the appropriate affiliates. Innovations include the ability to customize business rules quickly and to deliver context-aware, personalized content. The portal supports about 400,000 beneficiaries.
