Project Description:
The Fairfax County Public Schools' bring-your-own-device initiative promotes and supports the use of student-owned devices, (laptops, netbooks, tablets and smartphones) to increase student access to online instructional resources. Providing access to the school system's wireless network and internal instructional resources allows for increased creativity, communication and instructional innovation in classrooms. With teacher approval and after students have registered their devices, students may use their own devices to access online resources and collaborate with other students.
