HDFC Life's online point-of-sale system, Click2Buy, is aimed at enhancing the customer insurance purchase experience and increasing the productivity of HDFC Life's sales team. The online tool enables forms to be filled out with any errors. The system, driven by an underwriting rules engine, ensures that every question required for underwriting a proposal is asked at the outset. Click2Buy lets the company's sales team underwrite and communicate the decision, or let customers know if they have to fulfill any other requirements, right at the point of sale. Click2Buy is a step toward faster policy processing, an improved customer purchase experience, and increased business productivity.
