2013 Winner Profile

Land O'Lakes, Inc.

Project Description:
Eager to speed its response to IT problems and outages, Land O'Lakes chose the cloud-based platform ServiceNow to manage all its systems and applications. The result is a single system of record that gives IT visibility into the entire IT ecosystem, including 1,000 applications. The system allows IT to track application performance by business unit and application, as well as the performance of two offshore partners, for a fully integrated view. The system also manages and supports mobile apps for more than 500 sales reps in the field, improving employee satisfaction. Since launching the project in January 2012, Land O'Lakes improved the average resolution time for system failures by 70 percent, reduced the average resolution time of service requests from 3 hours to 20 minutes, and has saved $2 million by training employees more effectively.
