2013 Winner Profile

Yodle, Inc.

Project Description:
As the Yellow Pages become a thing of the past, most consumers use online search to find local businesses, often on a mobile device. For Yodle, which offers local Internet marketing to small businesses, this meant providing mobile websites to 30,000 customers in a way that would be cost-effective for both customers and Yodle. Yodle's IT group set out to create an automated process for generating mobile websites for its customers, and coding an ad distribution algorithm that would optimize customers' ad spend on mobile channels. By June 2012, the company had launched mobile websites-tested for usability-for its 30,000 customers at no extra charge. The mobile ad distribution algorithm targets mobile search advertising. It's helped Yodle reduce cost per lead for its customers by 13 percent.
