Project Description:
Domino's launched two digital platforms to give customers more convenient ways to place orders. The first, called Easy Order, lets customers create and save their favorite pizza order as part of their Pizza Profile. The company launched its AnyWare order placement technology, which gives customers flexible ordering options, including via text message, Twitter, smart TV, the Ford SYNC AppLink system and smartwatch apps. Since their launch, Easy Order and AnyWare generated more than 50 percent of U.S. sales from digital channels, with more than half coming from mobile orders. Beyond sales, the digital ordering platforms increased brand awareness across social media. When tweet ordering launched in 2015, for example, Twitter mentions increased 20 percent while Twitter followers increased 56 percent.
