2016 Winner Profile

BNY Mellon

Project Description:
In 2012, BNY Mellon's Client Technology Solutions department was tasked with a major initiative, to digitize the 230-year-old company. The focused on four main areas which included improving the client experience, increased operational efficiency, reducing redundant applications and platforms, and leveraging new technologies such as cloud computing and big data. The end result is BNY Mellon's NEXEN ecosystem. The newly created NEXEN system offers digital alternatives to BNY's current client service delivery models, freeing applications and services from rigid technology constraints. Using NEXEN, and the BNY Mellon Extreme Platform (BXP), which is their private cloud infrastructure, services are now delivered to clients securely, on demand as clients need them, easily, and in a personalized manner.
